You play Battlefield 3 but you don’t know how to upload your own avatar to Battlelog?

The point is: you cannot upload your own avatar directly to Battlelog.

1. Instead, you need to do the following steps:
2. Create a free account at http://www.gravatar.com. You can use any eMail you use, but it’s easiest, if you use the same eMail adress that you used to register at Origin/Battlelog.
3. Upload your image to Gravatar.com.
4. Select the area you want to use as your avatar.
5. Rate it.”G” means it’s a “safe” image, Battlelog displays only avatars with the rating “G”.
6. Choose the eMail adress associated to this avatar.
7. Log into Battlelog, go to your profile, click “Edit Profile”
8. Enter the eMail Adress you just chose in Gravatar
9. Wait 5 minutes, then everyone in the world sees your new personal avatar in Battlelog!

Important:

Be sure to follow the guidelines, if you upload a sex image and rate it as “G”, your account in Gravatar will be locked, and you might get a temporary ban in Battlelog too.

The trick is:

you need to upload your avatar to an external site called “Gravatar” (http://www.gravatar.com)
